Guest & Hosted

Renowned for their hospitality New Zealanders offer many fine guest & hosted accommodations all over the country. Included are bed and breakfast accommodation, boutique, lodges, and homestays or farmstays. Your hosts local knowledge can often be invaluable in making your stay more interesting. They may take you with them on adventures, or simply recommend good picnic spots or local entertainment.

Bed and breakfast accommodation is often in a family home, although sometimes a separate wing or cottage is available. B&B hosts are like instant friends you meet along the way. Breakfast is served in the morning and other meals are often offered at an additional cost.

Farmstays offer a rural lifestyle that guests can take part in, and are a great way to learn about the local farming lifestyle. Farm tours may be included and many offer lunch and dinner as restaurants may not be close by.

Boutique accommodation is usually characterised by it's historic charm, antique furniture and individuality as well as offering wonderful food and the hosts flair for entertaining.

Lodges
Always set in beautiful surroundings, lodges are small, intimate, welcoming establishments with between 4 and 20 rooms offering bed, breakfast and dinner.
