Beginning with the awe inspiring balloon inflation, your mystical flight unfolds. Once in the air you will enjoy the bird's eye view of the surrounding scenery whilst your balloon gently follows the breeze.

Depending on which of the six locations in New Zealand you chose to participate in hot air ballooning, you may find yourself drifting above suburban homes. Or other flights will take you above forests and rivers, highways and farmland, lakes and patchwork plains.

Aoraki Balloon Safaris..... The magical sky experience. Aoraki Balloon Safaris has been operating since 1992, with some of the most experienced pilots in the world. Its main base at Methven (by Mt Hutt) on the Central Canterbury Plains is considered New Zealand's finest ballooning location.
